The Oceania region of the world is also getting its own data center, meaning players in Australia and surrounding areas will be getting online better performance. The lion-like Hrothgar only have male characters at launch, although Square Enix will add female Hrothgar at some point after the launch of Endwalker. Endwalker also adds male Viera, a bunny-like playable race that has only been female since its introduction in the last expansion, Shadowbringers. We’ll also be getting new dungeons and a new alliance raid - which supports 24 players fighting together - called Myths of the Realm. The capital city of nemesis nation Garlemald will be another new zone. Radz-At-Han is another new city, and it has some clear Indian influences. Old Sharlayan will serve as the expansion’s hub area. When the title was rebooted as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, it's taken a decade to address outstanding issues, plus bring content to draw more players.A new trailer for Endwalker - which you can watch below - also revealed that players will be going to Sharlayan, a scholarly city often mentioned in the game but not yet visited. The initial launch was panned by critics and fans for questionable gameplay decisions and performance issues, among many other criticisms. Yoshida refers to Final Fantasy XIV's infamous launch back in 2010.

Final Fantasy XIV is an MMORPG set in the fictional land of Eorzea, both the second MMORPG in the series, and its 14th mainline title.
